I got great value for my money at Hotel Hokke Club. The room was clean and modern, and the location couldn't be better, right across from the Kyoto Station. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with more variety.

They provided very easy to follow directions to all of Kyoto's key tourist attractions

Not very much. My boyfriend liked the amount of uk football and American baseball on the tv. It,s also very close to the station.

The smell of smoke, the tiny room, the lack of daylight, the absence of a window. This is an expensive hotel for what it is and not worth the money. I wouldn't recommend it as there are far nicer hotels.

The hotel is located directly across from the train station, making it extremely convenient for transportation. The buses to the main tourist spots in the city are also very close by, making it easy to explore Kyoto. Additionally, there are many eateries in the station underpasses as well as other Japanese cafes nearby, providing plenty of dining options. The rooms are clean and bright, with well-designed bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. The hotel also offers a coin laundry on the 4th floor and a Japanese style restaurant on the ground floor.

The hotel sign in English is quite small and easy to miss, which may cause some difficulty in finding the hotel initially.

It has brilliant central location next to transportation hub. The rooms here are fairly quiet with a view.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, being right across from the Kyoto Train Station. This makes it very convenient for exploring the city and taking day trips to nearby attractions like Nara.

Comfortable, spacious rooms in a well appointed hotel. Just opposite the JR Kyoto railway station it's location was great for ready access to train and bus transport to Kyoto's major cultural sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location to see all the sights of Kyoto. English speaking front desk personnel was a real help. Rooms are small but very clean and compact. I really did not need any more space. Very good experiance.

Very central for transportation, helpful and friendly staff. We arrived in the morning, well before check-in time, yet they proceeded to book us in and store our luggage while we looked around Kyoto.

The room was very small, much smaller than we expected for two adults, especially once we got our luggage into the room as well. It was for only one night so manageable.
